You can but it might prove expensive - plus the fact that you may never be 100% sure you have the right marrage  ???

Out of interest what marriage are you looking for and what area?
Davies, Edwards, Evans, Griffiths, Hughes, James, Jones, Morgan, Nicholas, Powell, Prytherch, Rees, Williams in Glamorgan, Brecon, PEM, CMN & MGY

Biddle, Budd, Clark/e, Davis/Davies, Elliott, Emery, Harper, Harris, Lloyd, Parsons, Phillips, Pitt, Reed/Reid/Read/Rhead, Rogers, Scandrett, Smith, Tyler & Waldron in Staffs, Worcs, Hef, Cheshire, Shrops., Middlesex & Surrey.

Hiya,
Thanks for the reply, I am looking for for grandparents marriage certificate i guess sometime in the 1920's in Merthyr Tydfil.
I have my grandfather's name birthplace and rough birth date, for my grandmother I have all the information i require. I was just wondering if they would do a search, I have searched on free bdm to no avail.
This was my grandfathers second marriage, I know where he was living for 14 years in 1888-1902 and would like to find information for this marriage too
but free bdm proved unsuccessful, tried 1891 census on his address no luck either.
Any ideas would be most welcome
Kind regards
Paul Williams

Hi Paul,

You say you have all the details of your grandmother and also the name of your grandfather, so perhaps 1837online may be a fair option.

Hi Caroline,
Yes i guess but it starts asking for money, i am not 100% convinced by on line transactions as to their safety.
Kind regards
