Hi Ev - Still does not explain why I cannot find a death on SP for Christian Stalker m.s. Ferguson in 1864, it's on the MI but have tried every which way and have only come up with the two already listed..really was hoping that the death cert would give us her parents name etc..will keep trying but am running out of alternatives  ;D

Just in case it helps anyone to know the gaelic form of the name here is an excerpt from "In Famed Breadalbane" by Wm Gillies - chapter on Breadalbane surnames

patvp  :)

the 1864 cert. for christina stalker
the forsyth name that is coming up on SP search is christina's mother's maiden
surname not her maiden surname
so it could still be her(although i dont know why ferguson is not showing for
other surname)
if you have already used 1 credit to look at the index does it show anything
for other surname ?
