Thank you Shellyesq - this all seems to tie in.
I will write to the appropriate place in Wisconsin to obtain a search for Christopher Trembath for 1905 to 1907 for his death.

You have provided a enormous amount of information which should greatly enhance my understanding of the family and maybe find some present day descendants.

I think the information from Sophia or I am hoping the information from Sophia on the 1910 census of immigrating in 1898 is a typo error on behalf of the enumerator as  all their children are shown as born in Wisconsin. I would have though 1889 or before would have been nearer the mark. Even so I am ploughing through the unindexed 1895 census hoping to find some children born before 1892

thank you again- I am greatly indebted

In her obit, it says she immigrated in 1890 and that matches 2 of the censuses, so I'd guess that's right.

I found a bunch of stuff on this family, some of whom may be living, so I'll send you a private message.

On the site that Aghadowey gave you, there's a Michigan marriage for Jennie Trembath and her parents are given as Kit Trembath and Sofie Coutch.  So maybe Christopher's nickname was Kit, in case there's anything to be found for that name.  There's also a marriage record for Clara M. Trimbath & Leonard C. Olson which matches up with the information I sent you.

Thank you shellyesq - these words do not seem much even the sheer amount of effort and work you have put into giving this information.

Somewhere at the back of my mind I believe Kit is a nickname for Christopher- but will check this out further.

What a lovely weekend I will have now - working through this info and researching the family further .

All the best to you

Sue

Hi Sue15,

I'm wondering if you are related to Christopher Kneebone.  I have family connections to this family.🙂
