Please tell me what I am doing wrong..I  placed this in the one name study and it has been moved here..all I wanted was the name to be posted and maybe catch someones eye one day..
I dont want any look ups and I have not added anyones Christian names,But what I put in that column always seems to get moved...Please tell me why?

And so, several years later....

Hi Chrissie, I see you're interested in Durham Lowthers. See if you can see this link below. My Mother's paternal line are Lowthers all from County Durham. I've added to GGGGFather but have yet to add their siblings. I'll do so when I get chance.

PS.

County Durham Records Office have a great search facility and have created an electronic index that's searchable online here at:

Hi Michael,

The name Lowther of Kelloe struck a chord when I saw your post.

A few years back I assisted a lady called Christine in finding out where Lily Lowther had been buried. Lily was buried in St Helen's old Graveyard, Kelloe.

On one of my trips up to Co. Durham I located the grave for Christine, which she has since visited.

Could chrissie0143 be the Christine I did the research for?

I notice from chrissie0143's profile that she was online yesterday so has probably seen your post and will be in touch.

Regards,

Ian
