Premnay graveyard

Am looking for MI's for the Premnay graveyard.  Does anyone have or know where I can get them.   I believe there is a list but it's not in print.

According to www.abdnet.co.uk/burialgrounds, ANESFHS have an unpublished name index and plan for Premnay.  If you go into their research centre at 158-164 King St Aberdeen, the list will be in the library.  Non-members are charged to use facilities, but members are free.  Details from www.anesfhs.org.uk.  If you live far from Aberdeen, I may be able to help.

Thanks you for your reply.  I plan on visiting the research centre one day but alais it won't be for awhile.  I live in British Columbia, Canada so you see it is rather hard.  I would appreciate any help you could give me.  The family I am looking for in Premnay is Tough, Rob or Robb, Stephen & Maitland.  I have hit that rock wall that only graveyards can help.

Sorry to take so long to reply.  There are 3 gravestones at Premnay for Tough, 3 for Robb and 6 for Stephen.  There are no Maitlands.  There is one that contains both Robb and Stephen, copied below.  If you need any details of the others, please give me some more information.

1845: Sacred to the memory of WILLIAM STEPHEN farmer in Burry Hillock, Pramney(sic) d.21 Jan.1844 aged 75, his wife ELIZABETH ROBB d.21 Aug.1845 aged 69.  ADAM STEPHEN d.Auchleven 3 Jan.1899 aged 86.  Bottom: Erected by their sons

Please note that since the MIs are unpublished, they are unlikely to have been checked, so accuracy is not guaranteed.  Hope that helps

Hi Meetoo
Could you possibly look up Milne for me? I live down in Cheshire and so a visit is a bit difficult for me.
Much regards
Gemma

Hi Gemma

Can you give me more information than just the surname please?  Do you have first names/other surnames eg wife's maiden surname/children's names/approx dates (even to within 50 years is helpful)?

I might be able to check tomorrow if you have further info.

Thanks
