« on: Saturday 11 April 09 13:00 BST (UK) »
hello
would appreciated any info on James Molloy b.  abt 1858 and his wife Amelia ?  They have 2 children that I know of so far  Ellen b 1880 & Amelia Mabel b 1881.
The address for them was Glategny, Guernsey
I have found them on the 1881 census but I seem to have come to a dead end  ???
thank you

Can't see James in 1891, nor either of the parents in 1901

In 1901  both Amelia age 19 and Alice age 15 are in service in St Peter Port.

Emma age 14 is living with her sister Ellen:

I think I might have just found him on the 1871 census but I can't look  it is at ancestry.com. What it did show me was he was born in England.

In 1871 he's a visitor in St Peter Port.

His occupation is Mariner -  which means that in 1891 he could have been anywhere in the world  ::)
