Bookmarking

If you are interested in a thread but not able to contribute anything of substance, you have three choices:

1) you can turn on notifications for the topic - there's a "notify" link at the bottom of the thread to do this.  You will then get an email notification for each reply posted since you last looked at the thread.

2) you can send the link "to a friend" - in this case yourself - using the link on the thread.  This will enable you to find the thread later and if you keep the email you can regularly check the thread without getting lots of notifications.

3) any thread can be added to the users "Favorites" or "Bookmarks" by either

1. pressing Control and D keys
2. clicking on favorites and clicking add to favorites
3. clicking on Bookmarks and clicking on add Bookmark  *

Your cooperation in not bumping or bookmarking is appreciated and helps us to help others more efficiently.

Happy to answer any questions by PM - this thread will eventually be added to the Help pages.

*Thanks to Falkyrn for suggesting this third method of bookmarking
