Hi, im trying to find sarah slackford's parents im unable to find them on any census, I found sarah on the 1881 - 1891 -1901

sarah ann charlotte sackford b.1850 chatham,  married george webb in 1874 [b.1845 bristol] they lived in gillingham and had five children

Any info much appreicated

Do you have Sarah's birth certificate the name of father must be on the marriage certificate can you post the names.

There's a Sarah St(o/a)ckford born Chatham on the 1851 and 1861 censuses for Chatham - the handwriting isn't 100% clear in 1861... maybe?

HO107/1610 496 32 and RG9/478 8 14
 "My dear, I think the English pronounce it 'appiness"

I just checked BMD and I think she might be the one. In 1851, staying with grandparents Hoskings and mother Sarah Stackford

Marriage June 1849 Medway
Sarah Ann Hoskings - William Thomas Slackford

(William Thomas dies in 1860)

I've searched through the parish registers for Gillingham and they are not there.
