Meaning of C.R.H.S. on Jewish headstone
« on: Friday 17 April 09 06:11 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
I have kindly had photos of my g-g-grandparents headstones sent from New Zealand.
On both of them  there are 3 lines of Hebrew writing
then "in memory of........."
and at the very bottom the letter C.R.H.S.

Can anyone tell me what "C.R. H. S."  means??

thanks Loz

Are you sure it's a 'c' and not a 'g' for God Rest His Soul?
