Hi, I have just come across this conversation and would like to find out who you both are?
My name is Graham Schlank.
John Louis Beaver Schlank was my father. Maxine was his sister.  There were 3 siblings, my Dad, Maxine and Peter. I have a lot more information I can give you if you are interested and would love to hear what you know also.

This message is for Trace111...Maxine Olive Schlank was my aunt in Adelaide, South Australia. Her brother John Louis Beaver Schlank was my dad. I haven't a lot of memories of Auntie Maxine but I do remember going to your house at Somerton and I do remember Auntie Maxine's death when I was  teenager, more years ago than I care to remember. My purpose in writing this is to hope (1) it reaches you and (2) to ask if you would like some of the family photos that I have of your mother, both as a child and a young woman. She really was quite beautiful and although I have some up on the wall there are others that have gone back into the old suitcase which I inherited from dad via our Nanna Schlank. If you want them then I am happy to send them to you if we can actually find a way to do it. Hopefully this message finds you one way or another. Regards Christina (Schlank)
