William Curry McKay 1777-1829

I am trying to locate any documentation for a William McKay/MacKay who was born abt 1777 (Durness?) and married a Catherine Morrison in Thurso in 1803. William, purportedly, was the son of Donald and Barbara Morrison McKay/MacKay. His wife, Catherine Morrison, purportedly the daughter of William Morrison and Margaret Ross. William and Catherine were supposedly cousins.

William is said to have had one brother, Robert, born much later (abt 1794). His wife was Janet Murray who was a daughter of Hugh Murray and Christine Calder/Donn.

William and Robert emigrated to Nova Scotia in the early 19th century.

Would anyone have any clues about this family?
