Sarah Crossley/ Harrison b1787, Walshford, Yorkshire

Hi, I badly need the help of experts here!!

 My gt gt gt gdad is Thomas Crosley/Crossley b abt 1804-6, Leeds. I haven't been able to track down his birth...or his father...and I need help with his mother!!!

In 1851 Thomas living at East Beeston Hill, Holbeck, Leeds with his wife Ann (possibly nee Wilson but not sure) his children, including my gtgt gdad Samuel , and Sarah Harrison b 1787, Walchford, Yorkshire. In the transcription Sarah  is down as being mother in law to Thomas but on the original record it says 'Mother to head'- widow.

I have tried looking for her in both cases,  as mother of Ann and as mother of Thomas...with no luck either way. I did find an Ann Harrison which would fit in with Ann's birthdate but she was in another 1851 census simultaneously...

I believe that Sarah was married to Crossley and then she remarrried to Harrison. But I can't find anything for either marriage!!

Walchford is probably Walshford, Hunsingore, Yorkshire.

In 1841 I have two possiblibilies for her:

1841: Leeds Town: Sarah Harrison b 1791. F.S.
HO107/1348/2 Folio 29 Page 18

1841: Hunslet. Sarah Harrison b 1791 . HO107/1345/5 Folio 39 Page 29

I can't pinpoint her death, and I can't find her in 1861 census.

I'm beginning to think it's me and would love it if some fresh eyes and brains could get on the case!!! I'm sure I'm missing something obvious and need a gentle nudge in the right direction!!

Hi Mick, I found out that Thomas Crossley's first wife; Ann Wilson died in 1844. In 1845 Thomas remarried to Ann Giles nee Harrison (also a widow). Sarah Harrison 1797-1857 is Ann's mother
