Lost, stolen or strayed...
« on: Wednesday 22 April 09 21:40 BST (UK) »
I have lost my great grandfather's brother, Richard Lloyd a lead miner b24.03.1852 in Ystumtuen, Cwmrheidol.

He disappears from the census in 1891 and 1901, though his wife Hannah and daughters are still living at the family home. His wife is not described in the 1891 or 1901 census as widow and his name is given as the responsible parent or guardian in his daughters' school records in Ystumtuen between 1887 and 1898.
I have not been able to find him anywhere, either in Cardiganshire or outside it. His brother, Thomas, had moved to the Rhondda but Richard wasn't staying with him.

Any ideas?
