A TV top 20 of "family history" programmes
« on: Friday 24 April 09 21:41 BST (UK) »
In a similiar vein to the Ancestry top 20 what tv shows would make your ideal "family history" channel?

A few suggestions;

Most Hunted
A show where paranormal investigators contact your long gone family and bridge the gaps in the census and bmd.

Tomb Team
A group of archeologists excavate your ancestors burials in the hope of finding long lost clues to add to your tree, includes a "DNA revelation" in every episode  ;D

CSI Middlesex
A crack team of specialists piece together a 99 generation in 50 minutes tree from scraps of certificates and parish registers

Lead or no Lead?
22 Certificates, but just one question. Lead or no lead?

Can't look won't look
For those that well erm, can't or won't.

Any more?

'Catch me if you can '-
 An ancestor's attempts to avoid detection through various census years  ;D, disguising himself as a woolen worker  and then an ag lab whilst opting for his middle name in place of his first.  ;)
