Hi Alex and welcome !

25th August 1919

An ammunition barge accidentally blew up alongside HMS Glowworm in Bereznili, Archangel-Obozerskaya area of North Russia. Twenty men were killed ... I'm looking to see if there is a casualty list .... can you give us a name ?

Annie  :)

My Grandfather could possibly be Able Seaman Sidney Hill whom also died on the Glowworm and am trying to get information which would confirm this. Does anyone know where I might be able to access such information, perhaps Navy Records? Or does anyone know of pictures perhaps out there somewhere taken of the Crew itself? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks....

This might be Sidney Hill:

Just to stress that both the casualties mentioned are commemorated at Archangel but buried elsewhere in Russia.
