I have a feeling my grandmother did when she was younger (probably around the 30's) her maiden name was Darragh though!

Hi there,

I'm afraid my nanny died a few years ago, however when I begin to research this side of my family I'll certainly keep an eye out for Morgans- Have you looked in the street directors for the area? If you're likely to be in Belfast at any stage you can see them at the linen hall library or PRONI at Balmoral. I've found the directories to be very useful, the latest on http://www.lennonwylie.co.uk/qrcomplete1910.htm  is 1910 as you can see on this link but keep an eye out incase any more recent ones get uploaded someday

Hello,

My family owned the general store at number 70. My granny, Mary Leeson ran it with her sister Margaret McCusker. I think it was during the late 1930s and 1940s. They lived at 82 Andersonstown Road. Mary was married to Tom and they had three children Jim, Dessie and Eilish. Eilish is my mum. I can probably gather more information but I hope this was useful.

Stephen

My great grandmother Catherine Robinson lived at number 55 with her sons Thomas, Joseph and Albert.  They are listed there in the 1911 census but I am not sure when they moved out.

I searched for this family when replying to your 1st post but am still unable to find Catherine, Thomas and Albert in 1911  :-\

My dad lived in Roumania Street their names were Anderson my great granda and granny were Joseph and Annie Anderson.  I am trying to find out some information on them too I know that Great Granny was a Farrell (Balkan Street) and there was a Thomas Anderson who owned a Chip shop in Raglan Street.  I have all the census infomation right back but would like to look into the death information, if anyone can help out??
