Maps online by county
« Reply #3 on: Wednesday 11 May 16 20:57 BST (UK) »
I found this website today whilst looking for something else i.e. tithe map info. Sound familiar?

http://www.buildinghistory.org/maps.shtml

That is the map part of the site but the homepage reveals its a "How to find the history of your house" website. Lots more stuff that I haven't yet explored, I just like maps a lot.

Some counties have more links than others; I checked Northumberland and found one omission i.e. the Northumberland Communities website that I use extensively for NBL maps and documents at http://communities.northumberland.gov.uk/ There is a facility for reporting omissions that is useful.

Gen in NBL England

UK - Northumberland, County Durham: ANDERSON, DODD(S), EDWARDS, ELLIOTT/ELLET, FENWICK, GREY/GRAY, HINDMARCH and variants, JORDAN, MOORE, MURRAY, RIPPON, RODDHAM, RYDER-TURNER, SPARK(E)(S), STEWART, TILLEY, TIPLADY, WATSON,
Sheffield: TURNER
Middlesex: RYDER
Aberdeenshire: EDWARDS, BRODIE
Angus STEWART, DIXON, PETRIE
