I know this is a bit late... Gilchrist was in Greenock. The photographs were taken by a street photographer who seemed to always be there snapping passersby. This photo shows the side windows of Gilchrists on the left ... Municipal buildings to the right....Empire Theatre on the left also immediately before Gilchrist's windows.
