I've resumed looking for information about William Ellison or his second wife, Jane (nee Brown) Cullen.

I don't think this has been mentioned on message boards before  :-[  ::)  (too many years of research looking for my brickwall ancestors)
St. Andrews, Toronto 1842 Census
8 names under William Ellison's entry is
Mary? E. Cullen - I am hoping she could be the sister-in-law or mother-in-law of Jane Brown Cullen Ellison.
The "typed" name is Mary E Cullen.  I believe the image looks more like Marg. E. Cullen.

Opinions welcomed:  Could her name be Mary or Margaret, please?
I've found a Mary E Cullen (Hospital Street) in the 1844 Toronto City Directory, but to me, the 1842 image really does look like Margaret.   :-\
