Hope all is well with you Suzard  :)
With our daughter now in your part of the world, she misses the power cuts that happen every time we have a storm here (but not a lot).
Wise to turn everything off, just in case  ;)

Pat ...

Hi selena,

I have some info, on a Arthur Perfit from my family tree.

Arthur Perit born 1885, marriage to Edith Hilda Edith Ludbrook 1914.
They had two daughters
May Audrey Perfitt 1915-1960. Marriage to Frank C Gurney 1953.
Joyce M. Perfitt      1921-1936.

Arthur Perfit, son of Alfred William Perfitt 1847-1909.

Alfred William Perfitt, son of Robert Perfit 1806-1882, my 3rd great grand father.

I don't have much more info on May Audery & Frank Gurney, but I hope this helps in some way.

Regards Kit.

Hi Kit,
Thank you for the info.
Audrey was my grandmother. I have very little information about Perfits apart from a few dates etc.
I think either Edith or Arthur had a brother. I know that Arthur was in the RAMC and also worked in Ipswich asylum where Edith's father was.
Audrey was married before Frank Gurney (who I knew as my grandfather). My blood grandfather was a Canadian service man.
I have just one photo of Audrey. So sad that she lost her parents and sister so young. Do you have any information about Joyce?
How closely related to Audrey are you?
Regards
Selena
Perfitt (possibly Ipswich, Suffolk/Surrey)
Druce (Bucks)
Parker Bucks)
Gurney (Redbourn, Herts)
Cotton (Manchester)
Bauser/Bausor (Manchester/Salford)

Hi Selena,

It's nice to make a connection, Audrey would be my 2nd cousin twice removed if that makes any sense..? But a family member all the same.

The only information I have for Joyce is the birth any Death Records, sorry thats all until the next  census is released in 2021.

As for Edith she had a brother, Claude Victor Ludbrook, Born 1891 • Ipswich, Suffolk, England
Death MAR 1939 • Gosport, Hampshire, England.  He was a seaman, I've got him serving on  H M S Aboukir in 1911.. you can google all about the ship...

Arthur Perfit had 1 brother & 3 sisters.
