Mary Ann Haylock
« on: Wednesday 28 April 04 20:51 BST (UK) »
Hi'ya,

I am interested in Mary Ann Haylock born 1836-ish in Ely who I have only recently connected to my tree.

I have found a wounderfull site, already www.haylockfamily.com which I have found lots of information on Haylocks with a possible connection with a Mary Ann Haylock baptised 24th May 1835, Dau of Robert Haylock and Elizabeth Labourer. St Marys Parish Church Ely.

I have however found that Mary Ann Haylock was a popular name at the time ::)

There may be information in the census returns of 1841 and 1851 but I have no further information to give as I have yet to find a marriage to Henry Rickwood, and by 1856 they had then moved to Surrey with their growing family.

Hi Sarah,
I know this posting of yours was some time ago now but I was wondering if this site could be of use to you if you have not already searched it. It has the indexes for 1841/51 censues.
Best Wishes, Frances

Dear Frances,

Thank you very much for your message, you have really made my day  :D

I did not know of the census information for 1841 and 1851. I have found quite a bit of information which is going to help determine the correct Mary Ann.

I am very much appreciative of your help, Thank you so much

Sarah
