Hi Bevbee,

1871c & 1861c are the family I'm looking for matches in with 1881c but Peter 60  Carmarthen, Rachel 48 Tredegar.

Had nothing for 1851c - now I'm in a bit of a quandary as you have found a Peter & Rachel on 1851c. Rachel's place of birth only diff. Risca/Tredegar, ages tie in with 1861c & 1871c.

I now need to get going on ordering a birth certificate of one of Peter & Rachel's children to confirm her maiden name

Slightly disappointed, after all the excitement of finding other info. but that's how it sometimes goes 

Positive note if it's the other Peter Jones on 1841c with father Peter I've got a whole new family to start all over again with

Parish Registers Laugharne - Baptisms - 23 Sept 1822 - Peter Jones - Father Peter; Mother Margaret; Residence "Gosport" - Occupation Labourer.

Hello Bevbee,

Thanks very much for your reply & to your Dad for birth info. for Peter Jones, this confirms that Peter was born in Carmarthen

I have received the birth certificate for Peter & Rachel Jones son William Henry b1857 this confirms that Rachel's maiden name was DAVIES.

I now have all info. on this Peter Jones b1822 from Carmarthen and I think he possible died in Glamorgan in 1882.
