Dear Sir,

I am a physiologist interest in jumping performance. As you will notice from my activity (www.albertominetti.it) I already wrote scientific papers on jumping with dumbells. I am interested to find the latest descendants of Joseph Darby the Jumper, to help me to complete my studies about him.
Thank you very much for your help.
My email is (*)

Best wishes

Esther Ann Cooksey was the daughter of Isaiah James Cooksey, who's mother was Martha Darby, the daughter of Josiah Darby and Hannah Guest, Josiah Darby being the son of Joseph (jumping jack) Darby who married Martha Waterhouse as far as i can find out at the moment, even though ive managed to trace the darby family back to 1589

Good morning. I am a postgraduate at London University, but originally from Wolverhampton. I am helping with a research enquiry at the moment and need to contact anyone who might be or knows of someone directly related to Joseph Darby's children. Will be grateful if anyone can assist. Thank you.

Joseph and Sarah's children were Florence, Lily, Violet, Joseph, Norah and Dorothy. Norah was born in 1893 in Dudley and Dorothy was born in 1900 in Dudley.

I am hoping to make contact with, ideally, someone descended from Norah or Dorothy, but am losing track of their family as I get closer to the current generation.
