I have found the following names on my Ancestor marriage and birth Records. Some were close friends of and sponsors for the Castlebar McGough clan ; all were RC. Any connections may help improve my research or help discover the relationships that are currently a mystery.
Patrick McGough and Anne Ronane (birth parents, 1842 to 1852).
John McGough and Anne Ronane (birth parents in 1840).
Mary Ronane and Patrick Ronane (sponsors on a birth record, 1843)
Michael Ronane and Anne Ronane sponsors on 4/10/1840 birth record
James McGough and Mary McGough sponsors on a 1848 birth record
Note: Apparently there were two or three Anne Ronane's in the Aglish area around 1840 to 1850
