Lost BRIDGER
« on: Wednesday 27 May 09 15:29 UTC (UK) »

I wonder if anybody can help. I am trying to trace a George Bridger. He was born about 1834 in Penshurst, Kent, England. I found him in the 1851 Census and then he vanished off the map. He was christened 13 Dec 1835. I am hoping that he did emigarte.

He was the son of Edward Bridger and Sarah Martin.

I know this is nothing to go on but maybe someone will recognise this individual.

Thank you

Ian

1841 he is age 7 with his family at Hartnips, Penshurst,Hall, Kent
HO 107, piece 484, folio 17/5, page 7.

wife Ann 27,b Chiddingstone
Mary Ann 4,b as above.

Hi Brionne,

it looks like there are 2 George Bridgers of approx same age and p.o.b. - I think Ian needs marriage cert to find who George's father is

Sorry for having plagued your board with two copies of the same search!

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=384081.new#new

As I said on the other thread there are two George Bridgers and they are both related. George the son of Henry married Ann Aylward on March 17th 1855 so I have confirmed this line. The one I cannot find is George the son of Edward Bridger and Sarah Martin.

This is a real head scratcher!

Hi,
There is a death in NSW
1031/1888  BRIDGER,  GEORGE A. father  WILLIAM mother SARAH @ SYDNEY.

Wrong father's name, but often there are mistakes as the informant may not hold correct information at the time of the death .
