Hello,
I am also a descendant of James Comrie and Christian Leckie. My GGGGGrandmother was Christian Comrie b.4 Apr 1775. She married Robert Taylor b.13 Oct 1775, also in Muthill. They had 7 children. Interestingly, Robert Taylor was descended from a Drummond as well. I don't think that was uncommon at the time.

I am curious to know why the name is interchangeable with Conon. Does anyone have any information on this?
