Liney - is there a town by this name?

I have always believed my earliest Layng ancestor was from Liney but can't find it on the net.....
 ???

If you type in Liney and tick the box for similar-sounding names it comes up with several possibilities.
Or how about Lenzie (Kirkintilloch)? See what Wikipedia has to say about the pronunciation.

If you think it is Callander then try searching for Leny which is in this area.
