help finding a grave

can anyone help me been trying to find my g granparents graves etc they died in exmouth but not buried in the parishes around the area not having much luck with bmd i have his will and death cert  been scratching my head he died 24 dec 1958 st austell william adams he was buried with hius wife emily adamy who died 1956 any help would be brill thanks rob adams in sunny cornwall

Hi, Maybe there are funeral notices that were placed in local papers that would tell you where the burials were to be?

If that doesn't work, then questioning the undertakers in Exmouth might produce some info.  It's 50 yrs ago but there'd be a good chance the smae undertakers are there- or new ones taken over who perhaps have old comanies records...

ive had the exmouth library looking for me they havent found much must be something as william left 1000 pounds in his will will ask undertakers might help thanks

Hi again,
let us know how you get on... then if it's no go maybe someone can think of another approach. 
 Burials are very difficult to find.. I've a heap of them I'd love to dig up- praphs not the best way to state it ::)

ok been on phone to undertakers theres only one in my town and he wasnt workin then 1958 rung up beareavement  in topsham and even exeter offices no one can help i off looking at some towns this weekend u never know do yiu any ideas would be brill thnaks rob

as Charlotte said,the family would probably put a death notice in the local paper.If Exmouth had a local evening paper back then the notice might be in it.Check the local records office to see if they have copies of old newspapers,if they do they could be on microfilm/fiche.
