Date of Death  07/12/1977  Aged 71 years

Annie   Aspland from ELIZABETH WEST

Thank you so much for that, I have been searching for this information for a long time. I am also looking for another relation called Albert James Aspland (son of above) who died around 1992/3.
If there is any further information on any of these Asplands I would be so grateful.

ASPLAND is not a commonly occurring name in South Australia and along with the above cremation records at Centennial Park there is this record -

http://www.centennialpark.org/burial_memorial_search/

ASPLAND John Adrian of   Hawthorndene
Date of death  17 Sep 1989
Age 51 Years
Interment Details Cremation

There is a database of newspaper [death] announcements on the South Australian Genealogy and Heraldry Society's website and I don't see an announcement for an Albert James ASPLAND, the son.  However he may have died in another State of Australia.

Thank you for your help. I don't think that this other person is a member of the family I am looking for, but thank you for the link to Newspapers.

Another good sources  when  looking for deaths is the Ryerson Index, I  noted 12 deaths listed on  it

Thank you so much for all your help. I have checked the Ryerson Index, but don't recognise any of the names on there. But the info you gave me yesterday was brilliant after 2 years of trying to find what had happened to my husband's parents is now solved - thanks to you. His whole family emigrated to Australia in 1960's and he never really knew when or where they all died, so you have made him a very happy man. Keep up the good work you are so helpful to people like us who live a long way away and don't know the best places to look. Cheers from sunny Spain  ;)

We are glad  to have helped him, sad  that he didn't know  where they died.

I  have found your Albert James ASPLAND died in Victoria
http://www.deceasedsearch.com/index.php
Springvale Botanical Cemetery ASPLAND ALBERT JAMES
He died 11/4/1995 and was cremated 18/4/1995

http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/recordsearch/index.aspx
You  can see his arrival on  the NAA site
search as Guest  list him and his familiy arrival,  I  won't list  their names as  the  children may still be living.
