Hope I'm on the right list I think my ancestors JOHN & ALICE DOHERTY were born/married in Longford as there first 2 children were born there(thank god for the 1871 enumerator in Prescot lancs.) John's son John 16 and CATHERINE 14 in 1851 census.Catherine married John HUYTON in Prescot 1871 as DOUGHERTY but how do I trace them in Longford can anyone help me I would be verry greatful
