James Beggan resided in Rahard County Meath.
Griffith's Valuation confirms.
James married Bridget Farrelly 1877 in St. Bartholemews Castlerahan County Cavan. They had 5 children. A priest at St Marys told me it was James 2nd marriage and that he was 50 years old and his father's name is Thomas.
There was a James Beggan born in 1854 as per St Brigid's Parish Oldcastle County Meath. Parents were James Beggan and Marcella Brady. This is not the correct one.
There was a James Beggan born in 1824 as per St Brigids Parish Oldcastle County Meath. Parents were Patrick Beggan and Elenor Fleming. 1824 does not jive with 1877 - 50 = 1827.
James + Bridget had Hugh, Thomas, Rose, Margaret Jane and Margaret Kate.
Could tell me how I can proceed? I have conflicting information…
I have contacted the parish Priest at St Brigid's Parish Oldcastle County Meath
and they get 10 requests per week on similar topics (Since the census Records were burned in the Four Courts Bldg in Dublin). They cannot do the lookup for me.
