Hi Don

I have added your info, I had Charles already but not spouse and kids - thanks. After I put them in a link with another tree came up showing Eliza dying in 1852 and Charles remarrying an Elizabeth Henderson be fore going to Oz.

I have checked with Free BMD and an Eliza Poore died Mar qtr 1852, a Charles Poore married Elizabeth henderson Dec qtr 1852

It is always possible that these are not your people you have any thoughts on this? Seems to be related to a MAry Price

Hi again Sandra,
They are mine. Charles, Elizabeth and Edward (Elizabeth's illegitimate son,  George, Mary Ann and Jane (cannot find her birth c.1852/3.) came to Australia on board the "Magdalena" in May 1853. They settled in South Australia where they had 4 more children.
George married Emily Davis and Mary Ann married Richard Hounslow.

Kind regards,
Don.
P.S.A 6th cousin of mine is a Jan Mary Price(her maiden Name)

Hi Don

Thanks for that I will add the extra info. An Edmund kept coming up with Elizabeth, probably a typo then.

Hello, I have been working on a Taylor family.  William Taylor was born in 1789 in Downton Wiltshire.  When I searched through Find My Past it showed a town called "Mere"...would this be the same place.  I saw no Downton for that time period.

Sandra,
The earliset Hunywell, in Downton is 1743, a Geney Huneywell daughter of Richard and Jane Hunywell, she was bap 12th April 1743, I know the spelling is slightly different but it might help., they then went on to have daughter Mary bap 24th April 1755 again in Downton. Also daughter Betty bap 28th December 1762.

Then to 1775 a Catherine Honeywell daughter of William and Elizabeth Honeywell bap 14th Sept 1775 Downton.
Can check up to 1812, if that is of any interest to you.
 Nicky
