George Hobson Faily Photos

Amonst a bundle of old photos (1904 -10) are photos of George HOBSON and presumably his family (and friends). They seem to be from the area of Blackrock and if anyone has any connection to the family please contact me.

    I have a George Hobson in my family.  Do you know the date and where the pictures were taken?  I just joined this web site today to bear with me.

Hi Peter,
My G-Gfather was a George Hobson, b. Jun 1851 Sheffield, Yorkshire, England; d. 7 Sep 1911 in Meriden, New Haven, Connecticut, USA.  I have no photos of this gentleman.  He was married to Ann Agnes ("Annie") Courtney of Handsworth, England.  He immigrated to the US in 1868; she in 1874. I don't really see any familiar traits in the photo you provided. However, I'd be very interested if you have anything that might connect my George Hobson to your photos.

These photos would be very interesting. George Hobson was the brother of my great grandmother Eleanor Brittain née Hobson.
