William BURROWS - Puriton

I am looking for infomation on  William Burrows of Puriton Somerset

he died oct 1875  having been hit by the first morning train on his first mornings work at the local station,  not a lot of info I know  but anything on his family would be a help

Charlotte & Julia were already in Kingsbury in 1841, so really dont know what to make of the 1851 PoB - probably Kingsbury all along ?

There is a place called Charlton Mackerell .... all in the same sort of area ...

Many thanks Past Master  I   think that Julia  is from Woolavington  interesting there is no Burrows in Puriton today  but the Hopper name is still going strong

Hi - yes, its consistant as Woolavington - but the only Hooper claiming that as a PoB in 1851 census is a Judith born c1839 - in 1851 she is in Bridgwater Union Poor House ....


In 1841 theres a HASPER family in Wool* - daus Judith & Julia .... looks like HAS, not HOO but you never know !
