help sought in finding mckerran reynolds.
« on: Saturday 18 July 09 20:05 BST (UK) »
hi I wonder if anyone can help me with this brickwall, I am looking for any information on the following people. What I have is very scant indeed, looking for micheal mckerran who married catherine reynolds who subsequently married patrick wade who was born about 1832 in dublin. micheal mckerran and catherine mckerran had a daughter briget who married alexander mckenzie in edinburg in 1879 I believe the family may have come from achilbeg? The scant information I have at the moment is derived from documents relating to alexander and briget mckenzie nee mckerran

any help in knocking this brickwall down would be greatly appreciated.

Alex.

Hello Alex,
West of Ireland, Mayo/Galway border. (WADE surname)
Conry/Conroy nee Wade married 1860 approx plus or minus ??
I am trying to locate a "Wade" surname lady. She married Edward (NED) Conry/Conroy approx 1860 plus or minus. She died a young lady. She had no Family. Edward (NED) farmer 32 yrs old when he remarried later in 1865 to Margaret Hamrogue 20 yrs old from South Mayo.  I am not sure if this "Wade" lady came from the Connemara/Clonbur general vicinity.   I maybe wrong.
Not fully sure of the correct "Wade" spelling? Waide/Waite.....???
Possible burial somewhere on the Mayo/ Galway border.
Ned Conry was not buried with her. Edward/Ned died in 1907 from the Ballytrasna/Neale/Ballinrobe. (Farmer) He is buried in the old Kilmolara cemetery close to the Neale village with his second wife.
I am FULLY SURE that she had some form of relations living in the general area of south mayo/north Galway border in 1907.
I guess the Wade family/relations emigrated after 1907.
Any small piece of information would be appreciated.
Regards. Martin Conroy

Also posted on topic "Conroys from Rosmuc" on Galway board. Replies 27-29.

You may receive more interest + hopefully replies if you start a new topic with Conroy and Wade in the title. If you do that, include links to this topic and the other in your opening post.
