married Grace ?
first child Samuel Spencer born Hloywell Flint. 24.1.1836

The only one that looks promising is:

Edward Spencer bpt 17 Feb 1811, Neen Sollars. Mother - Mary Spencer.

I think Neen Sollars is in the south of the county and I would have expected a more local movement from Ellesmere or environs.

yes I did see that one and wondered ,still trying to find his marriage to grace  I am out of my depth with some of these places it takes me all my time to direct some one to the next street  never mind another county Samuel did have a Daughter Mary but the Welsh don't seem to have a naming pattern

When did he die - I can't locate him after 1851?

Grace says b. Holywell so I'm assuming (maybe wrongly) that they married in that area.

Have you got a birth reg for any of the children? At least that would sort out Grace's name.

just sent off yesterday for  certs
