i am just at the archives looking for the nationalisation papers that you found

and i have made contact with margaret very nice lady i sent her all i have and she seems to think there is no link to Hubert as they were not basket makers in france but she is still on the case( so to speak)

A Hubert BURLURAUX was born in 1826 in Rupt-en-Woëvre (17/AUG/1826). Father : François BURLURAUX. Age 31; Occupation : merchant. Mother : Marie Anne DEPOIX. Age : 32

Marriage in 1820 in the same village (23/AUG/1820)

François BURLURAUX is a son of the late François BURLURAUX and Margueritte COLLIGNON.

Children, at least :

Jean Nicolas BURLURAUX in 1821
Sébastien BURLURAUX in 1823, died in 1825
Hubert BURLURAUX in 1826
Sébastien BURLURAUX in 1829
Lucie BURLURAUX in 1832  Father : marchand de paniers

Marie Anne DEPOIX passed away in 1854 and François BURLURAUX in 1877

and with those names, I found the family on Geneanet
