There is a marriage on City Ark at Stoke Page 9    ( 00000279 )

William Bates bachelor otp and Mary Bradley spinster otp 10th May 1829

 I also spotted a Christopher christened 21/9/1834 who is theirs.

I can't see a burial for the first Mary Bates (nee Bradley) in Stoke before William remarried in 1832 but have found one for this Christopher  23rd November 1834 age 10 weeks. of Stoke

William and Mary Bates are still alive and kicking in 1871.
They are transcribed as Bater and living at Gravel Walk, Rochester.

ADDED FindMyPast has it as Baker, the same as the family above it.

Thank you Rosie as they were living in Gravesend in 1871 may be she was living with a daughter/son, or which to be burial where she came from, on the other hand there is a Milton that is part part of Gravesend.
