Thanks for all that Susan.  Happy to fill in any blanks.  What a naughty boy J H was and involving his father too.  I too was wondering how Pam and I would be related, racking my brain to think of any relatives names,  maybe Pam is descended from my grandfathers brother Alec.  I have messaged you on Fb Susan.

Hi girls   If any of you are still around did you ever solve when Joh reed arrived into Australia ?
As i know a lot of Miners went to Ireland  so it could be they went there first ?

Going Through Old bits and pieces of info,  May have a possible ship for Richard and Emma and Joseph Hoskings...  Have not cited it yet     Wairappa ??

Can not find this ship. Their is one with the name Wairarapa but is different ship
