Hi Kris & rtrustum
Thanks for the link, i am a bit new to RootsChat so hope I have this right.
I believe John Trustum - leather dresser - was born 1781 Stratton Gloucester, son of William Trustrum & Mary ?.  John's wife Mary Ann (known as Ann) was a servant with Emanuel Wormer family, a farmer of Martock.  As far as I have been able to determine John and Mary had 10 children, 5 of whom died very young.  Have a little more information, not sure who you are interested in.
Cheers Lyn

Hi Lyn36,

The info you posted is fantastic. Any other information you have would be most appreciated. You can post on this forum or email me on (*)

What is your connection (or interest) with John & Mary Ann? I only have information on William John, so sorry I can't be of more help.

Many Thanks

Gloucester Journal January 21st 1799. Meeting of the Gloucester Society in London to consider petitions regarding children who's parents are in desperate means.
Robert Trustrums child . Father a day labourer with nine children.
I expect the "r" in the journal print is a phonetic spelling. They would have lived either in the present School Hill or Barn Way, Stratton,Cirencester,Glos. in that year.
