Hi, whilst Rounce is not in my direct line I do have some in my tree. Minnie Georgina Rounce brn Blundstone 1883 daughter of James John Rounce brn Blunstone 1857. Minnie marries into Hoyes and in 1911 is in Surbiton, Surrey. If this ties in with anyone?

Hi Alan,

My Thurlow line, thus far, goes back to Jonathan Thurlow (1752-1830) - generally this Thurlow line come from Great Ryburgh, does that tie in anywhere?

Thanks

Jabez and Sarahs son william was the father of my G Grandmother Mabel Rounce who married a David Stackwood. Have you seen the Aylsham parish records? - there is some interesting info . Please contact me for any further details about the family.

There is a Bastardy order filed against Jabez Rounce in 1851/52 (by a Mary Vout) the same year he married Sarah Bullock. He was ordered to make monthly payments to support the child.

The family stayed within the Oulton /Aylsham district for generations - my Mother now 74 grew up in Aylsham and my Grandparents were there until they died in the 1990's.

Minnie Georgina was my grandmother, lived in Corton just north of Lowestoft.
