I am searching for anybody who knew of or may be related to KATHLEEN LEEFE or her family, she died 20th august 1990 and was cremated 24th august 1990 at carlton cemetary, her funeral was arranged by the co-operative, her mother may have been MARION LOUISE LEEFE, her grandparents would have been SOPHRONIA LEEFE and JAMES ACKERS LEEFE. As a child Kathleen lived at 4 Wyre Grove, Blackpool. Please, even if you have the smallest of details contact me on the following email ...    (*)

Have you checked her death registration to see what age she was?   That shows a date of birth of 12 Dec 1907.   That might lead you to her birth registration on www.freebmd.org.uk which is a very useful site.
You could also find her on the 1911 census.  That is a paying site.

Well she didn't marry or her death would not be registered under her maiden name.  Unless we have the wrong person?  There is no way to check whether she had children unless you are prepared to search all the full index of births and get lots of certificates.  A will might help though.  Google the Central Probate Office for details of how to find if she left one.

PS Capital letters is considered to be "SHOUTING" so perhaps better not used?  All these nettiquette things take some getting used to.

Hi  If you have sen the 1901 cencus you will have seen that James Leefe 53 boen Kent this is has a lie through it and Greenwich next to it.  Sophronia born Isle of Wight aged 50.  Children are
