« on: Thursday 13 August 09 14:06 BST (UK) »
Hi Me Again

Looking for some info on the above name, he was born in Rossville Street Derry in XXXX. I was looking more so on his Mother and Father names, profession, dob etc. His Mother and Father were born in West Donegal so I would need the names to search.

Thanks

James

As you can see, I've had to modify your post in accordance with Rootschat policy.

You will probably have to order the birth certificate to find the details you are asking for as such recent information is not available online. Index to civil registration is online (free) but for Northern Ireland counties only goes to 1921.

Thank you for confirming that but the date is still too recent to post. However, if anyone can provide you with details they can do so by using PM (personal message) system.

Hi, John friel (d) 1931 and Mary Jane Friel nee Coyle (d) 1949, they are my Great Great Grandparents, John P was there eldest son and he was married to Nellie Bradley (Ellen)...my Great Grandfather is John P's younger brother William...Both John Friel (d) 1931 and his wife Mary Jane were born in Derry, John's parents were both from Donegal, where exactly I have still to confirm but it is more than likely they originated in Fanad or Milford....how exciting....where do you fit in? are you in Ireland or Scotland, John P's family still live in Derry, I was at uni with his two grand daughters....?

There are Friels recorded in the Irish census living in Aught, right beside Ture in 1911
