Carshalton War Memorial
« on: Tuesday 23 September 08 13:39 BST (UK) »
Dear all,

I am currently doing a bit of research into the soldiers of the Carshalton war memorial, the aim being to bring together as much information about each soldier as possible.

I am mainly using the CWGC website to get the information but would love to hear from anyone who has any further information, photos, family connections etc.

(Also posted on the London board)

Hi all,

I have set up a website about the men from Carshalton who gave their lives in WW1 and are commemorated on the war memorial. I hope to update the site shortly with details of the locals who died in WW2 as well.

The wedsite address is www.carshaltonwarmemorial.webs.com

If you have information about anyone from Carshalton who served in WW1 or WW2, please contact me via the website.

Regards,
ASA1

Lovely site, ASAI.  It would be a good idea if you posted the link on the Surrey Resource page so that it doesn't get lost in the general messages,
