I found you have an interest in the HICKLANDs from Glenavy in Ireland and the KEYLANDs both these names are directly related to my family tree I have some information on these families in New Zealand but not the Irish side Is there a way of contacting you to share this information

1901 is the first complete census for all Ireland- only fragments of earlier years survive and for 1851 some of County Antrim. It's available on many websites (just google '1851 census antrim') but here's one-

 Thank you aghadowey I have found it now and as you say, it is very limited, unfortunately. I had hoped there may have been some of Aird or Carrowreagh.

They have changed the website around a bit , but here is the link to what they have available:

The total of what they have available appears to be on 243 pages, but the original PDF document I downloaded contains over 1100 pages. If you send me a PM with your email address, I will forward it to you and anyone else who would like a copy. It is about 9MB in size, so make sure your email can accept attachments of that size.

Suzy, with reference  to your post which is quite old now- did you ever get the travel information for Joseph Hickland? If not I have him down as an Assisted Passenger -24th June 1876-Canterbury.
