The above George Neillands was born Doune Cottages,
Lpwer Oakfield, Kelty, Fife Scotland
, 1917, August Sixth.

He married ^(*)
1943 June 10 th at Gullane, Scotland.

George was a Sargeant in the Royal Air Force
Wife ^(*)
 was a childrens nurse at Mellerstaine House, Gordon, Brewickshire, Scotland

They had a daughter ^(*)

We have lost track bit heard that the family emmigrated
to Califonia. That George died suddenly leaving the family in distress.

We also heard that his wife ^(*)
BECAME A GOVERNESS TO CHILDREN OF THE "STARS".
 
WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN AND WHERE GEORGE DIED AND WHAT HAPPENED TO ^(*)

It appears that George died in 1965.  You can see the information from the Social Security Death Index & California Death Index on www.rootsweb.com.

I don't see any death information for George's wife, and I found some addresses for her from the 1990's, which I will send to you via private message.  I also found a border crossing for the family and possible birth information for their son.

I am the granddaughter of George Forrest McNab Neillands. My grandfather and grandmother Ivy had four children, and I am the daughter of their second son and 3rd born child. I know this message was posted a long time ago, but I would like to find out anything I can about my grandfather, or talk to anyone who knew him. Thank you so much

George Forrest MacNab Neillands was my 2nd cousin once removed. I have a fair amount of information on George's family if anyone is interested, I've traced the family back to the early 1700s on the West coast of Scotland.

              As you can see from the above posts I have done a fair bit of census and BMD on the Neelands. All because Gerge Neelands marries Catherine Glasgow GUTHRIE ion 28 June 1916.

my wifes mother was named Wilhelmina Guthrie Neelands HEADRIDGE after her mothers sisters
husband William NEELANDS, At least I believe this.

I have George Neelands who married Anne Brown both died Portobello 1894 to 96
I have his father George married to Mary JOHNDSTON but no details.

I would like to share information.
