Von Rump family of Norfolk

Does anyone have any information about a Von Rump family who settled in Norfolk please?
Its a family story that they originated from across the channel.

Hello - I have traced the family back to the marriage of John Rump to `Martha` pre 1723.

I am always suspicious of family stories!.

Have you tried;

Earliest on there is Robert Rump paying 4s tax in 1661.
Baptisms for children of John/Martha/ some died as infants. Plus possible deaths of them also.

Hello Trish. Thank you again for your help. I thought you might be interested (or other Rump researchers) in the following:
My previous research ended at John Rump who married `Martha` pre 1723.
The couple had 10 children, born in Norfolk. All researched now.
The family ended up in Northumberland.

Hi Frek,

The earliest child I can find to John/Martha is Sarah 1718. I also found 11 children, 1718-1739, some of which died.
There are lots of Rumps also on Freereg.
Unfortunately unable with my resources to find the Marriage.

I hope someone else comes up with some info for you.
