Womens Auxiliary Air Force abbreviations
« on: Sunday 13 September 09 13:29 BST (UK) »
Could anyone tell me what a code means on discharge papers for the RAF?  I have:
Reason for discharge, KR & AC1 Para 652(1) on termination of engagement.

The abbreviations are on a Womens Auxillary Air Force Semptember 1939

Would appreciate any help

regards Trish

Hi Trish

I think you might get an answer to this if you post to the Armed Services board.  The people on there have an impressive knowledge of seemingly everything related to services queries.

KR & AC1 Para 652(1)

I expect KR will be King's Regulations, and AC Air Council.
