Hi, David,
Left a message on your other posting regarding Browns.  I have Brown in my family tree and their is a David John Brown amongst them.  Cannot remember whether his father was John Brown or Hamilton Brown or my Grgrgrandparents.  Will check to see who his wife was and get back to you.

I've managed to find the info I was looking for e.g birth record for John Brown.  From that I've managed to trace parents, grandparents.  Many thanks, David.
