Any info on Timothy and Bertha Moran. They lived in Rathmines from 1915 onwards. We think they had a daughter called Josephine.
All help appreciated, Bren

They are living in number 1 Rathgar Road, Rathmines West in 1939 with Josephine and a William Joyce. #

Looks like Bertha and Tim got married in 1915 in Dublin South. I cannot find any records for Bertha ie... birth or census.. was she Irish?

Was Timothy brought up in Rathmines as there is a Tim there in the 1911 census with his parents and Brothers. All Chimney cleaners.

If this is them then Timothy was born in 1889 and married in 1915.

Thanks for that. I am specifically trying to trace anyone who may be related to Timothy Moran and/or his wife Bertha (nee Joyce). They lived in the Rathmines/Ranelagh area after they married in 1915. I know they had at least 2 daughters called Josephine and Mary. If any body knows anything about any of these people I would appreciate if you would pass on the info.
Thanks.
All help appreciated, Bren

I am the great grandson of Bertha and Timothy.

They had numerous children including the following. Florence (my grand mother), Emily, Margaret, Josephine, there were also sons that I never met, I believe one was called Timothy and possibly another called Dennis. My grand mother died several years back, but Emily is still alive and is as far as I know their only living child.
